On Tuesday morning I cruised over to Creative Framing and The Art Box to pick up an easel that Amanda and Anne were kind enough to lend to me for the Design House. Without vendors such as this we could never pull off the Design House. So many thanks! They saved my day!

Next I was off to the Design House for one final prepping of my room, just as the photographer was making his way through the house photographing everyone's lovely spaces!
Later Tuesday evening I had a presentation at the Colonnades Independent Living retirement community to promote the Design House event. A lovely group of folks attended our chat!
This afternoon we presented at The Independence retirement community. What a thrill it is to meet folks in the community to discuss the work we've been doing at the Design House on behalf of the shelter.
On my way home this afternoon, I swung by Patina Antiques again to snap some pics of their new location. Here are some fun finds and several pictures of the architectural details of the interior. Tell me what you think!
Lovely chest of drawers
Large windows with wonderful views!
Pinecone Hill bedding and an upholstered headboard
Love the interior arched doorways!
Beautiful patina on the hardwood flooring and staircase
Here's that perky yellow door I promised to show you!
A nifty little chair with rush seat
And thus ends my day! Tomorrow is the Design House Preview Night! Yippee!
Until next time...
